We had very good luck in the Trinity near Richland-Chambers. We have shot a few in the 60-80# range and one that weighed 186# 5 hours after it was shot! My personal best is 7'4" @ 151#'s. Luckily we have hit most in non-fatal areas and were able to weigh them take their picture and push 'em back in the water. They are amazing fish. There's nothing quite like havin' one of those dinosaurs on the end of a string!
