OT Fishing with kids

A little off topic but I would like to some info on public places to fish from the bank for crappie / whites and the occasonal striper. I am taking my 5 and 6 year old girls and we would like to fish close to where we are camping with our RV. You know little girls need a potty nearby. Any suggestions of where I can fish form the bank relativily close to the RV within 2 hours of Houston.

The two hours from Houston blows my theory "out of the water".

Big Mineral Camp, on Lake Texoma is a great place for Sandies and Stripers. Decent camping area's too. But....... It's a little farther than 2 hrs from H-town!

You can always try Sommerville. I use to fish at Big Creek Marina. I really haven't been there in 6 or 7 years though.

Farther than 2 hours but in about a month Colorado Bend would be great- Maybe a little closer but if you could camp at Lake Georgetown and drive and fish the San Gabriel but not near as pretty as Colorado Bend.
