    Last season in Kansas we put out Morton Pool salt from Wal-Mart and the deer visited it quite regular until the rut. But there are still holes in the ground where they paw at it. It is alot cheaper than buying all the blocks and gimmicks. Serves the same purpose. Just scratch the ground good with a rake and rake the salt into the ground in a 4ft by 4ft square. Water helps dissolve it into the ground and the deer will keep hitting it.
