My parents just bought a 2012 3/4 4x4. My mom drives it mostly. She's getting around 13 for town driving and 17ish highway. My better 1/2 drives an 09 hemi 1/2 ton. It gets about the same 13-14 town and on the highway we have seen as good as 21, typically straight highway is 18-19.

Do you have a tow strap tied to the truck in front of you?

Depends on rear end. High or low speed makes the difference.

09 crew cab 4x4 and it will consistently get 17-19 hwy and 15 in town with small lift, bigger tires and a heavy foot
