    Power supply

Okay you see my current setup with my trolling motor.
The trolling motor works, but the speed adjuster is broken.
I am wondering if I could get a newer trolling motor and still use my current bracket and power supply plug.

It is going to be very hard to find something like that bracket and plug. If your staying 12v you might be able to find a plug but 24v no way. Bracket is the tuff one. I would just buy the whole setup and get a new outlet.

I do not have much room up front and all the new bow mounted TM's are huge. I considered a pontoon trolling motor, but I need to see one up close before I decide.

If the shaft size is the same you should be able the put the new shaft into that mount.

You CAN probably still use both. remove the old plug from old motor and use it on the new one. Shafts will probably still be the same size.

That plug is a 220 volt plug you can remove it and put on new trolling motor if you want to stay with that.

Thanks guys. I thought about having the trolling motor fixed, but it might be cheaper to just get a new/used one. This is my first boat so I am really a rookie at this stuff.

What make and model would you recommend?
