    Good degrees to get

    My girlfriend is in school and want some ideas of Degrees that would be the best to get a job. I have a great job but wondering if i could help her out. Shes leaning towards medical field (big *******) ?

    Anesthesiologist Assistant. I don't know what the job market is like, but they make very good money!

          It depends. Easy to get a job? Best working conditions? Best pay? Best career path? Bit more info would be helpful.

                    Occupational therapist, listed as one of the top ten jobs in the country a few months back with least amount of people seking it
                    With a 2 yr degree she can make upwards of 50k with a 4 year its up words of 80k
                    My wife works with kids mostly ( school districts) self employed and contracts her work

                      geologist
                      electrical engineering

                      keep in mind you'll have to work in Houston or overseas to make the truly big bucks...
                      we're talking start $100k, $200k in 10 years.

                          She will be the best at what she wants to do, not what pays the most imo. And that's something that only she can decide.

                            There is a big demand for people in the safety field. This is not just a local thing and ask anyone in the the oilfield business safety is the fastest growing part of the industry.

                              by the way, my wife also has recruiters calling just about everyday offering her jobs all over the country
