For sure! I own 2 pairs of Red Wings. Both the Pecos model. One regular and one steel toe.

I dont like to be the only one to comment diffrent but Red Wing Boots are very uncomfortable for me. I am a larger guy. I found that the twisted X boots are more comfortable for me.

Yes! Red Wing 8" steel toe fireman zipper boots, used them forever as a ford tech!

That's all we wore on the drilling rigs.
Let me rephrase that... That's the only brand of boot we wore.

Switched from Red Wing to Georgia a few years back and it took care of a good chunk of my back pain

I wore them (1178s) for ~20yrs, but went the cheaper Justin route, ONE TIME.

I was in Ohio driving in the Amish community, last fall. Went into a harness shop that had a Red Wing sign in the window. Long story short they ordered me a pair and shipped them for free. $154 out the door..... I hope I can find their info again in a couple years when I need more. I'll dig around, if I can find it I'll post it. Tell 'em the guy from Texas sent you.

                      Edit:
                      Found the Business card:

Had red wings for a long time for work, still use a pair for hunting (non st) I can walk miles in those things no problem.

I picked up a pair of Double H boots (st) for work and haven't looked back since, standing on my feet all day my red wings would kill my back; I have not had that problem with my new boots
