I have a young man who shoots in our club that is in the market for a new bow. His dad called me last night wanting some advise, they've been looking some and have it narrowed down between a Bear Outbreak and a PSE Rally, I'm not familiar with either bow so I went on line and looked at the spec of each...wow, 50+ pounds of adjustment without changing limbs?? Is this possible? and 13 to 14 inch adjustable draw length......Anyway, I was just wondering if any of y'all have had any experience with either bow and if so, what did you think about it? Any input, Pro's and Con's would be appreciated.

I've never messed with either of the other bows.
or if on a budget Diamond by Bowtech Razor Edge
19-29"
30-60 lbs
$329 fully rigged (Upgrade the sights though)
~sorry don't really know about the other two, but these are great bang for the buckLast edited by Rambow; 07-26-2012, 05:47 AM.

Now you just walk in and buy the 30-60 lb RAZOR EDGE as it is. I owned a couple of THE EDGE few years back for my kids. The two that hunt are both shooting the razor edge now with upgraded accessories.

I realize that this is an old thread, but for anyone searching for info. on a bear outbreak, here it is. Although it's touted as a total draw weight range of 50 lbs. across all draw lengths, realistically, you only have a 20 lb. draw weight range within each set draw length. For instance, my draw length is set at 29" and have a draw weight range of 50-70 lbs. The shorter your draw length, the lower the weight range variability within the 20 lb. range...i.e shorter draw length could put you within the 40-60 lb. adjustable draw weights. Otherwise, it's a great shooter and quiet..not the fastest but is great for the tree stand or ground blind due to its 29.75" ATA. Hope this helps.
