I don't think they are going directly after the 2nd amendment, but they are going to start to make in-roads for future politicans to get there. They will start small for now.

If Obama gets relected, I think he may try to make an attempt at "assault rifles" and go back to the Clinton type ban. Other guns will be left alone. Since we've already been there, done that it's an easy place to go back to. They'll stress how during those bans you didn't have someone walk into a movie theater with an AR and go on a killing spree.

Again if Obama gets relected, for ammo I think they are going to try impose a tax on ammo and reloading supplies like primers that will partially pay for additional government oversite and tracking of who is buying what they consider to be a large amount of ammo. Not only will they see how much ammo you buy, they will also see the type of rounds you are buying. Buy too many rounds for what they will consider is an assault weapon and you'll be profiled. It will be just like pseudafed, buy too much and they pay attention to you. Buy what they consider is a reasonable amount and you'll be left alone.

I have enough of most except 22lr. Problem there is the more I buy the more I shoot. I had a brick a day habit for a little while. I still have 3-4K rounds of various Remington and Winchester that my pistols wouldn't cycle.

I have more then enough to make it through the run up in ammo purchases and prices

then the crash down as all those guys sell everything they bought for triple the price for virtually nothing because they heard from a friend that something bad was going to happen.

honestly last election after six months in office i was buying ammo and guns at cut rate prices from guys that had bought it because we were all about to see the repeal of the second amendment.

I'm just now finishing up shooting primers I bought before the '94 AWB...

Been staying slow and steady the last four years working on my stock, should be good to go.

How many rounds is enough? Those 223 aren't cheap, thinking of getting a conversion kit to shoot 22. Lot cheaper at .035 per round versus .35 per.

Depends on how much you shoot. There not going to get any cheaper, order in bulk and you will get better pricing. Ammo to go is the best place I have found online. No tax and free shipping.

Obamas not going after the 2nd Amend...he s going after the whole Constitution. He wants to "remake" the USA.Similar to whats happening in other countries but much more subtle. There is a thing called the Geneva Convention that our leaders signed years back and if our glorious politicians sign the International arms ban and put us under NATO rule, then we fall under the direction of the Geneva Convention. Not something I want to see.
