    New Mac....

    ...I mean Mac computer.

When my PC crashed a couple of weeks ago, at the recommendation of several TBHers, I ordered a Macbook Pro. I finally brought it home from the office today and I feel like Mohammad Ali at a spelling bee. I'm pretty lost. It is WAAAAAYYYY different from using a PC, and I could use any tips you guys could lend me for learning it quicker.

I do own several Yetis, but do not have a new one. The title of this thread is somewhat misleading and is what you may call a "lie".

*Title was edited by mods to make me less funny. Not gonna work.

      LOL!!

I went to a Macbook Pro a few months ago. It takes some getting used to, that's for sure!

Watch it there mister...you are treading on thin ice!

Serious note: I hear great things about the Macbooks, I'm just PERSONALLY not an Apple fan. To each his own, but I know you've got some good gear in your hands. Maybe I should be more open minded and start with an iphone

Some of the videos are little outdated now, but I found them helpful when I made the switch years ago.

Learn more about popular features and topics, and find resources that will help you with all of your Apple products.

You are a smart man. I have 2 Mac Book Pros. They are just......better.
you'll figure it out. You should go take a class at Mac store. Great teachers.

The problem when switching is that you are used to doing things that take unnecessary steps and isn't intuitive. It does not take long to get used to Mac. Just upgraded to Mountain Lion. Like it.

I'll probably be begging for a computer class if I can't figure this thing out in a few days.
