1,050 miles/20+ hours from central New Mexico to central Idaho. I'll never make that mistake again. I was lucky I made it home alive driving head first into a blizzard, negative temps, in a rental Toyota Corolla, and barely making it ahead of closed highways. Someone was watching out for me because I sure wasn't.
In 2005 my Dad and I drove from Austin to Grouard Alberta Canada to go moose hunting. 39 hours one way. Only stopped for fuel and to pull my bumper away from my front tire when Dad hit a pronghorn in Montana. Title lost Curt
Myself and two other guys took turns driving to Hornpayne Ontario, Canada. 37hrs in a half ton dodge diesel was horrible. My azz is still sore, that was three yrs ago.
