Relimbing a bow.

Is relimbing a bow worth it?
I have a Mathews LX (70lbs) that I would like to drop to 55 pounds. Since my shoulder surgery, 70 is too much. I think new limbs are around $170.00 plus installation.

If you really LOVE the bow then yes, but on a bow of that age I would think you would be better off selling it and buying a new/used bow

Considering that bow was discontinued in 2005, finding limbs for it could be a challenge. And personally I would be a little Leary of used ones that old. I bet you can find something much newer that will hit the speeds, and everything else you are looking for at 50 peak.
