has anyone tried them and was wandering how do they work and how much heavier do they make your arrow

    #2
There was a thread about them a while back. IMO they will add too much weight and totally mess with the spine of an arrow since you have to cut them so short. None of their literature lists a total weight and probably for good reason. Also they say the 40 yard pin can become the 50 yard pin.

I am no rocket scientist but if you remove 2.5 inches that weight 7-9 GPI, and replace it with something equally as heavy or heavier, there is no way it will fly that much faster. But that is just me. I think I will stick with more traditional methods.

Made my tune go way out of wack and they hit about a foot to the right and low from my FOB's. I forget the weight, but they are heavy. I will stick with my FOB's.

I use them and have actually never been more accurate. The weights of them is (or was) on their website under the "FAQ" section. I don't have a problem with FOC, they also address that in the same section of the website. I'm no expert with any of these things, just know the results. I am much more consistent using them and now only shot one arrow at one spot in the target because I was hitting arrows and breaking nocks if I shot more than one. Again, this is just my experience, but for me, it really made me consistent. I will say this though, if your insert if off at all or if the ferrels get slightly bent, it will make the arrow fly poorly. Need to spin test them after you put them together and make sure they are straight.

FOBS slide in just like a nock would.
