Can't speak for the truck tires but I just replaced a set of Cooper touring tires on my wife's Camry and they were a POS.

I just had to buy new tires. I wanted to replace with what I had ... the BFG's, but the guy at Discount Tire sold me on the Coopers...and I liked the price a lot better. I have to say, I don't think my FJ ever ran as smooth with the BFG's that it does now with the Cooper's. I'm a fan!

I was torn between these and the Falken ATS in 285/70/17. The coopers are 10 ply and the ATS are 8 ply. I went with the ATS from Discountdirect on eBay b/c they were cheaper and had a $100 rebate. Hope I don't regret.

I've only had one set of Hankook MTs, and that's all I want. Mine wouldn't balance no matter what after about the first 10,000 miles. You can have 'em.

I think I'm gunna go with the copper st max next go round. I have the stt's now and I barely got 30,000 miles out of them I hoped to get a few more

In years past I loved Coopers, however my son and I both put these same model and size tires on our trucks - mine a 4x4 & his swb 2x2 - and both had poor treadwear. I replaced mine with just over 35k and my son at 40k. The Goodyear's I had prior went 50k and the Firestones I have on now have 30k and still look almost new. A friend who is a hotshot says he had the same experience on his trucks.

I have those on my truck but have only been 10k miles on them. So far I like them. Only been in mud once with them and then it wasn't very muddy so can't really give a comment on how they preform in the mud.

That's what I have on my crew cab 1500, 10 ply 265/70/17 and I'm at about 37-38k and they might have 5k left before I feel they will need to be replaced. A decent percentage of the miles is around the ranch on rough dirt roads, rocks and sand. They have been good tires, only had two flats. First one was a 2.5" 3/8 lag bolt and the second was a 4" long 18 wheeler valve stem. I don't know if I'll go back with them, they weren't a lot cheaper than BFGs and I got 50k+ out of two sets of those. There's no telling what I'll get, it's usually something kinda different.

Just put the cooper zeon on my 4x4 Titan and I like em. No whining on the highway and makes the truck look good.

Time will only tell if they were worth it.

I had a set of the Cooper Zeons on my truck for few days but wanted something more aggressive. I'm on my second set of Cooper SST's and don't plan on running another brand any time soon.

                                They have 55,000 mile warranty.
The problem is that people buy them without getting there steering professionally aligned.
If your alignment is not straight your tread will not wear right therefore voiding your warranty.
I have a set and i am around 62,000 miles with them and about 30% tread left.
                                These tires are GREAT.
