How many here are members of a committee at the Houston rodeo? I'm on the Safety Committee and we had our committee party last night. Man, it took me most of the day today to recover. Open bar and good BBQ buffet!!

Anyway just wondering who else on her serves and on what committees.

Maybe, dont know who that is. There were about 500 people there, we have almost 900 members.

Not a member but my son was the recipient of a HLSR scholarship in 2001.

Cool Tim. I know they give out LOTS of them and it really makes a difference.

I was in the calf scramble when I was in high school. Caught a calf and spent the next year showing all over the state. You learn alot doing stuff like that. I'm just glad I can give back some now as an adult.

I did the calf scramble when I was in high school but I didn't catch anything. I remember how amazed I was a tthe size of the astrodome floor when I got out there. I know I got a TON of free stuff just for being in the scramble. Most of it was from Justin.

Yeah the floor of the dome is ALOT bigger when your running around on it!!! I think I was told that it is 3 acres, but that sounds too big.

900 members on the SAFETY Committee?

Dang. Thats bigger than our livestock committee and over twice as big as our Horse Show committee.

What do you guys do besides drink? LOL
