do they work and how good?

Thinking about buying a gopro and putting it on my bow. Has anyone done this and how good does this work?

It is good quality, but you lose what you are videoing once you release. It will help your follow-through though!

It works. But on the bow videos I don't like. Mounted by feeder/target or by the shooter is awesome.
Get the remote for it to!

If I was spot and stalk hunting all the time I would get one but for hunting out of a stand I would only use a stationary camera as you will get much better video of the impact of the shot. If you don't want to have to mess with a separate camera then it's not a bad way to got, better that no video at all.

I've been wanting one for my mt goat hunt in a couple weeks but never pulled the trigger. I thought it would be neat to strap it to my pack to show the scenery.

I made a bow mount for my regular video camera. Took two shots and immediately knew it was worthless. Too much shake on release.

The chest mount for the go pro would probably work best.

I have an epic and its no good for bow hunting. Can't see the arrow fly or impact at 20 yards.

I hate to hear that, haven't tried using one for hunting so wasn't sure. Used them for other stuff and they worked pretty well, too bad it won't carry over
