I've lost 2 turkeys. I've lost a ton of pigs, but I generally only chase them to get my arrow back, and if it's a pass through, I don't bother. Just killing them for property damage control. I've recovered everything else, and hope to keep it that way. Losing the turkeys was a disappointment.

One white tail and one axis....makes me sick! I would pay anything to relive that moment and do stuff different

One elk but it was killed two weeks later by a rifle hunter. With my arrow still inside.

                    No bears.

                    Don't know how many deer.

oh man...did you know the rifle hunter? So where did you exactly hit the ELK? Tough buggers aren't they?

One wt buck that I pushed and regret every day since b/c I knew better. He would still be my biggest buck to date.

forgot to ad the pig I shot in the head with my rifle.
I tracked him for a very long way before I decided that that sucker was tougher than I was. Hindsight, dont shoot a pig on the top of his head with a 243

One cull buck this past January... I still maintain that the shot was good enough to kill him, he just never bled at all and we were unable to find him. Here's a pic of the deer as I shot it... you can see the arrow starting to emerge right behind his shoulder... maybe a little high. Knowing that I wounded him was a terrible feeling, and I hope to not experience it again!
