    Timed protein Feeder

Does anyone know of a good timed protein feeder? It doens't have to be big, I want it to go off when my corn feeder would. I want to use it like a corn feeder because the deer come to protein like crazy and then they don't come well to corn.

        I use a 1000# Feedermax

This is a 400# model... They aren't cheap tho...

Cattle record keeping that works! Trusted by producers in 70+ countries.

Yeah, Feedermax makes them. Pretty pricey though but it saves you money in the long run if you think about it.

I have 3 Lamco 800# feeders that have been great. Two people can unload, move it or load it without too much trouble. Don't need a ladder to fill as you just stand on the troughs.

They have been through 4 moves and a hurricane with only minor cosmetic damage. Only complaint I have about them is how they ran to wires to the motor by pinching them between metal and the feeder box. After 6 years, I had to redo the wiring since the rubbing caused a short.

I think a member on here invented one and is gonna bring it to market soon. Don't know anything about it or remember his name. Search function maybe ?
