They have over the counter tags and lots of public land. Many landowners in the Northwest allow bowhunters on for free too, because the goats are hard on their fencing. Still doing research, but the price is right

Man I can guarantee that if I didn't already have an elk and Oklahoma whitetail hunt lined up this fall then I would just on this with you in a heartbeat. I have literally been drooling over pronghorn lately, but just can't make it happen this year.
ARCHERY ANTELOPE
There were 1,555 archery antelope licenses issued in 2011 (1,246 resident and 309 nonresident) making up 2,141 tags. The three-tag licenses that were available for this season for the previous two years were replaced with two-tag licenses. Approximately 87% of all license holders were sampled and the survey response rate was 59%, with all hunters responding over the Internet.
The overall success rate for the archery season was projected to be 16%, with 258 bucks, 46 does, 23 buck-kids, and 10 doe-kids harvested. The archery season ran from August 20 through October 31, except when and where a state firearm antelope season was open. Of the 19 counties where antelope were reported harvested, Harding and Butte Counties accounted for just over 50% of all harvest.
Average hunter satisfaction was 4.48 and was based on a numerical scale from 1 (very dissatisfied) to 7 (very satisfied), 4 being neutral. 2011 Archery Antelope Harvest ProjectionsLast Revised: 12/14/2011Harvest ProjectionsAvgAvgResidentNonresTagsResponseUnit/SubunitBuckDoeTotalSatisfactnDaysUnit/TypeAvail.SoldAvail.SoldsoldRateSuccess1st Tag2nd TagBucksDoesKidsKidsHarvestRatingHuntedST1-41Unlmtd744Unlmtd22596957%22%22%181161022104.454.0 1ST1-48Unlmtd502Unlmtd841,17261%11%19%3%77301381284.534 .44Totals1,2463092,14158.5%16%2584623103374.484.18 # Units less than 85% response rate & harvest projections may not be within +/- 15% of sample statistic.Satisfaction is based on a scale of 1-7, where "1" is very dissatisified, "4" is neutral and "7" is very satisfied.Tag Success
