    Leander, Texas

Does anyone here on TBH hunt that area? Can anyone tell me anything about the deer in that area or show me some pictures possibly?

    Thanks in advance.

Typically pretty small. A 120"+ would be a REALLY good one.

i hunt in lampasas which is up the road a bit, but i am familiar with the area. pretty small deer in general. hundred pound does and 120-130 dressed buck are about average mature deer. obviously there is the random toad that exceeds everyones expectations in the area. let me know if you want any tips or questions about the area.

What he said. I've hunted this area the last five seasons, and I've NEVER seen anything but meat. If you want to fill your freezer you'll do fine.
