Ghost Blind or No Ghost Blind?

Im more of a tree stand hunter or hunting out of a tripod. I like to be off the ground. But im gonna try a little ground hunting this season. I have been thinking about buying a Ghost Blind. I just dont want to spend that kind of money for one if it doesnt work. I have a really good feeling that it will work but how is it shooting a Bow out of it and is it easy to get busted?? I would like some feed back. Thanks!!!

I guided some wounded warriors last year and we sat behind a ghost blind...worked like a charm believe it or not. It's pretty cool looking back at the blind from about 25 yards or so...it's pretty much invisible.

My hunter killed a great buck from behind it.

i see it working well for rifle, but with bow, it seems to me that a pop up is a better choice for the ground. way easier to control and conceal your movement since it covers you entirely. but either way, brush yourself in really well, and you should be good

I like the ghost blinds. I have bow hunted with one with very little back drop and had deer less than 10 yrds. Definitely great for rifle hunting. It beats sweating in a hot tent but I guess there could be issues with jumpy deer and movement.

My buddy got a GB for Christmas. It works. His 11 year-old son took his first bow kill out of it this last season. Doe walked right by them and never saw it coming. The kid had to stand up to shoot, but had no problems. I've sat behind it and can draw while seated. I would have to shoot through the gun rest (plenty wide) if seated. I plan on using it as my "mobile" blind this year.

These look pretty awesome. Saw a DIY vid on YouTube that may have been posted on here before. I'll see if I can find it.
