    Hog Hunts in West TX?

I am looking for a place to go hog hunting in West TX, or anywhere close. I live in Midland, and work in Seminole, so anywhere within 2 hours or so of here would be preferable. I would like to be able to hunt at night as well. Let me know if there are any places around that are reasonably priced. Thanks!

You may look at some of the ranches around Abilene or sweetwater.

      www.twistedwillowhunts.com Call Ronnie @ 325 718 9662

He is out of Ballinger and hunts several ranches in the area. I am not sure how up to date his website is so if your interested you may just want to call him. He can set up whatever package your looking for, including lodging.

          Lake Alan Henery

There is public hunting on the North side of the Dam at Lake Alan Henry for hogs and other game. They have a web site that explains all the different hunts you can go on. They have a day rate but I don't believe it is very much. I have not hunted this area (huge area) but the terrain is beautiful. It may be a tad bit over two hours from you but you might give it a try. If you decide to try it give me a shout and I might try it with you, been wanting to go out there. I live in Snyder about 35 mi. from there. PM me if your interested.

mev002, I have a 5th wheel we can stay in and if you get a free weekend during deer season and are not on a lease, feel free to give me a shout and see if we can get you a pig or several and maybe even a doe, either with a rifle or bow.

That is awesome man. I appreciate it, especially since i will probably only get to hunt 2 or 3 times the entire season. I mainly hunt In Centerville, TX which is a good 7 hours or so away a little to far for a typical weekend of hunting.

Keep me in mind. I would love to have you come up and hunt since you are so far away from your normal hunting area. Let me know when you are going to have a free weekend.
