Here's a pictures on Chocolate Antler Deer. It looks different from other deer.

Can anyone tell me more about it? Why is it looking like this?

I have seen Melanistic Deer, too light to be it...

See the dark line down on his back? I saw Doe like that but darker last December, texted locl G.W. while inside the blind and asked her if that was a normal white tail deer? she said yes...I obliged and left her alone. She had almost top half of her cape like that, drk brown then middle cape had a normal tan color with white underbelly. Very black tail...Im wondering what are they? Hybrid of these two?

Ive got a buck like that running around. He's got a black face... But that's it. Nice deer last year but he got a pass to grow up.

I don't know what's up with it, but if he's 5.5 like I think he will be this year he may make it to the hit list this year. Depending growth. Haven't seen him yet but had some Feeder problems (ran out before I realized and set empty) out there... Which equal poor pics.

Cool. Hope you git im this year! Sorry about the feeder. Happened to me twice last year! Learned my lesson.

Bought double order and stack other half in a reserve 55 gal barrel with lid closed and stored inside the storage container! Lol. That way when I get there and find out the feeder is empty, all I got to do is get another 350# of bags out of holding barrel. Be done w it.

Just make sure to fill up the reserve or it'll happen again.

One time was when whole barrel of corn dropped on the ground. Bad battery and it kept slinging until it ran out of juice! So mad.

Other time, operators fault. Miscalculated the time in between fill up. We all have our own whoops moment.
