A dad tried the gun cleaning trick on me one time. We walked in the living room and he was cleaning a shotgun, I said "man that's a nice browning, was it made in Belgium? Oooh a sweet 16 too, I've got a magnum 20 myself. I'll bring it over next time!" We shot skeet a couple times after that, nice guy.

Dale, my FNL was gonna do that and my then girlfriend now wife said, "Dad he hunts and would probably dissemble it in front of you." I walked in for the first time, introduced myself, he went to the gun closet and said what do you know? Handed me a 870....I put it in pieces on the floor and said this is how you do a Duck and Goose hunter cleaning. He looked at me with huge eyes and said, "I never knoew you could break it down THAT far!" Needless to say we still get along

Great application, I don't think anyone could ever pass it. And I don't think I will ever have to pass it out either. I have one son, so the way I see it, I got what I wanted. So I'll just quite while I'm ahead.

Also had my FNL try the same, except I started it. He had a few guns on the wall and and one was an SKS. I had on to so I asked if it was a russian or a jap gun. He replied will a milwalkee in his hand and slurd words , " Don't really know, traded a guy for it,buurrrrrrrrrrrppppp."
