So, I decided to switch to a thumb release. I'm in my backyard this morning firing about my 10th arrow with the Carter Chocolate lite. It feels great but at full draw I'm still struggling with trying to figure out where my anchor point should be. I spend so much time adjusting my anchor point that I lose concentration and accidentally let down. I've been trying hard not to have a death grip on the release so it flies out of my fingers. The arrow is released but luckily it hits the target about a foot below my POA. My new release flies about 15 yards toward my target. Bow, arrow and release are undamaged. Not so my pride. Nothing like a good dumb*** moment to keep you humble.

Relaxed, squeezed, and the release and arrow were in a race to the target.
This is why I don't recommend this style release.
I know a person can eventually get used to this and not make mistakes like this,
but in the initial transition process, these mistakes can get costly and dangerous, and yet, you still command the release.?
I don't get it.
