The Escondido is nice. It's actually a spa resort between Medina and Bandera. My wife and I stayed there about 4yrs ago and went into Fredricksburg from there. If I remember correctly it only took us about 30-40min.

The wife and I love the Corner Cottage. Great rooms, good price, fantastic breakfast. Walking distance to downtown.

www.knoppschoolroad.com is my wife and I's favorite bnb in Fredericksburg. Very quite. Very relaxing and no one else around to bother ya. The pic of the woman looking at the sunset in the pool is my wife. Some of the pics on the site where also taken by her. That one by me.

we like mycountryinn.com it is just out of town and has some nice axis and whitetail that come in the evening to feed.

This is Travis' wife, Go to www.absolutecharm.com they have awesome B&Bs. One of our favorites is Oma's Cabin. It's 3 mins from town but still gives you the "out of town" feel. It has a balcony that overlooks miles of the hill country. And we woke up to deer feeding right outside our window. It was a great place!!!
