    Three Fingers Ranch

Anyone ever been? How is is set up? I might try to take a blackbuck doe from there and am wondering if their is a healthy number or if they are few and far in between. Thanks, BigFoot

Umm, Sippy has a live hunt going now.

Was your opinion made largely at the gate?
                Or overall?

I have been there a couple times and each trip I have had a fun experience. First trip between three of us we harvested 2 blackbucks, 1 fallow buck, and 3 hogs. Second trip we shot an oryx, fallow, ram, and several hogs. Fun place to hunt, the owner and guides are great people and the prices are great. The only draw back I could see people having is that it is a small ranch and you will get a lot of shot opportunities, but it isn't what you would consider a challenging hunt. That is of course you are after 1 particular animal or a couple ones then it is challenging, but bottom line is that you will have shot opportunities. There are also a lot of hogs which makes it fun. If you would like specifics then feel free to PM me.

Bigfoot, you may want to look at Sippy's thread "Tiffany live at 3 Fingers Bowhunting" before you book anything. Some are saying this is a great place, but what Tiffany and Sippy went thru would not make me book a hunt there. Might be a one time deal, but what happended to them is not good in my book.

Great to know about this place - my daughter and future son-in-law are moving to Waco for school next month and it'll be nice to have a place to take them hunting when they can't come home!

                              Thanks for the post!
