OT: Nike pulls Paternos name off Child Care Center

Interesting read if you have time. Just thought I would share.

Nike stood behind Penn State and its late coach Joe Paterno as the Sandusky scandal unfolded. Now, in the wake of the Freeh Report implicating Paterno in covering up Sandusky's alleged crimes, the sports giant has finally capitulated and renamed its Paterno Child Development Center.

With the finding of the Freeh report I think this action is more than warranted!!!

I think PSU should take down his statute. He put the PSU brand, the program, and his legacy before these poor kids. And the whole time, he was preaching "success with honor."

He was slinging rocks around a glass house for almost 2 decades. And people are STILL defending him. Sickening...

It seems kinda wierd that a "man of integrity", fell so far, so fast, but he made his own bed, and now he's taking a permanent dirt nap in it.

I say remove the statue, but I doubt that they will.
