Its been raining since early morning inside the loop. Its great we're getting it, but its ruining my chances of a late round of golf after work

It seems as if the ones that need a little rain get dumped on and the ones that need it really bad do not get anything. At least you are getting some, but I hope it does not cause a lot of problems. When you have had enough send it back up to the Panhandle. We are still in desperate need up here.

That is kindof what I was thinking. This is the first year I didn't renew my fema flood insurance and now this system seems to be parked over us like Allison.

Saw a UPS 18 wheeler jackknifed over a barrier north bound on I45 this morning... 4 little prius-type cars all turned around in the middle of the road in front of it...
Little rain and water puddles and those things turn into death traps for anyone around them...

Yeah 5+ inches this morning alone. The news said a TXDOT rain gauge in hockley picked up 11 inches this morning already

I use Weather.com on my phone and select the past 24 hour rain fall total layer. Not the best but is ok in a pinch.
