On Monday, Lindenwood University-Belleville, an NAIA school in Illinois, came out with a completely new look. The field looks like a striped Christmas present, alternating red and gray every 10 yards all the way down the field.

The blue turf is Boise was actually put there to keep geese from thinking it was an oat field, and trying to land on it. At least that is what I heard about it. The red/grey combo is just silly. But people are now talking about a NAIA school!

I don't think so, but I am not sure. I do not think it is in a major duck flyway.

              Well ok then.

According to wiki it is not true, but I have always heard every year they find dead ducks

It's like they tore a page straight out of the script.

Yeah, college football threads are dicey at times but this one is purely a design issue. Therefore there is much less chance it runs off in a ditch.

Thank goodness the change is not a directive from Obama or Romney!

Hopefully the tricked up field trend ends here.

"Let's see, how much more awesome can we make this. I know, let's paint the turf different colors. trhat will be super awesome."

Looks silly to me. I guess we need to keep turning the volume up so we don't get lost in a sea of noise.
