How to kill an axis!?

Alright guys I've been chasing an axis buck for a couple of weeks now but they will not come into the corn! What's a good attractant or tactic you can use to up your chances?

you can use alfalfa... or find their travel routes and set up there... for the whole day. they travel all during the day.

Good luck they are tough! Try the alfalfa pellets too.

The axis in Leakey will walk past corn and alfalfa to get to some buck candy corn. I never thought it would work, total impulse buy, and I will always have it with me now.
