Now for the details:
Friday, I have a promotion exam for Captain at my fire department. It's for 1 spot and there are 6 of us taking it. In all honesty, I'm more nervous about passing the test than I am anything else. There are a few more steps after the written that I'd have to get through until I would be promoted, but the written is the biggest part of it for me. If I don't get promoted after a couple of interviews, then at least I made it that far. If I don't pass the test, I am going to be disappointed in myself. I just need prayer to calm my nerves and to retain the information like a steel trap.
I'm sure I am preaching to the choir with some here, but I am just trying to solicit any prayers I can get, especially ones who have gone through this already. I appreciate them all.
Also, pray for my wife and kids who have gone through a lot in order for me to get prepared for this. They're really the reason why I'm doing it. In the end, either way, I still have a great job.Comment

Prayers continue for you. Be sure to get a good nights sleep the night before the test. Do not try to cram for it, if you don't know the stuff, cramming will only increase your anxiety and it will be a tough day testing.Comment
