I'm really interested in getting into Taxidermy, does anyone on here mount their own animals, and can gave me some pointers on just where to start, and answer my questions??

I would first volunteer some of your time to a local taxidermy shop. Might lead to a fulltime job. I think you would learn more this way than any school you could go to. just my .02.

Get a copy of dvd mounting a whitetail A to Z by rick carter. Great overview and check out taxidermy.net and read read read.

If you're SERIOUS about learning, shoot me a PM. I've got some info on a new "school" (even though I don't want to call it a school) that's in the works. It's geared to a very small class, maybe even 1 on 1 instruction, taught by an outstanding taxidermist.
