How many lumens do you recommend for a flashlight for an ar.The feeder I am going to hunt hogs is about 80 yards away

All you can get (jk). I would say you will be ok with 180-200lm.

Yup somewhere around 200 lumens. Check out elusive wildlife technologies if your looking for a green or red lens light for feeder hunting! I love my xlr250 with green lens.

The StreamLight Stinger LED has 180 Lumens and 17,000 candle power of WHITE light. It has a 1.0 inch metal housing. You may order the red, green, blue filters extra. You can even get an infrared filter. It has three power settings and it will send the white beam just under a 1/4 mile. This a military/police quality light. It's about $120 with a charger. It will have the power you need for 8o yards.

The Goblin Hawglite(it's green) will get it done. I can identify a target at 200yds and see eyes at well over 300yds. It comes with a pressure switch and can be mounted to a bow or rifle. Also comes with the standard push button switch to be used as a regular flashlight. Runs on AAA batteries forever. Right at $100.

I have a Klarus XT2C in an Elzetta inline mount on my AR that has 470 lumens - it's rather bright. I have two other handheld flamethrowers with even more zip . . .

If you get a white light you better be ready to shoot on the run

Dont forget the green led lights from Deal Extreme, they are as bright as anything on the market at a 1/4 of the price.
