    Hustler ZTR purchase

I am thinking about pulling the trigger on a new Hustler ZTR. It is a hustler fast trak super duty with a 48" cut and a kawasaki engine. I found one for 5800 with 48 month 0% financing.I have been looking and researching quite a bit and they look like a quality mower for the money. I have looked at several brands that are in this price range and higher and these (Hustler) seem to built really well with a good warranty.Does anyone have any input on these mowers and does this seem like a good price for this quality of mower? Any advice or if you know of a better deal would be helpful.

    Thanks

I've bought the Fastrak Super Duty 54" for a hundred bucks more at "A Tractor Shop" between Azle and Springtown. Super nice people.

That's been 2 years ago though.

I have the 48" with the Kawasaki motor. I love it! I mow 3 1/2 acres, for 3 yrs now and have had no issues. Great mower.

Cant give any advise on the Hustler other than what I have heard, and that is they are darn good mowers.I didn't have the 5800 for a Hustler so I bought a Bad Boy mower same size for 1500 less and absolutely love it.Course this is my 1st ZTR so I could be riding a Jack Arse of a mower and not know it......but I love it none the less.....lol

There are some folks around here that run the smaller Hustlers. I looked at them this spring when I was in the market for new mower. I looked and demoed the Hustler and the Scag, I went with the Scag Turf Tiger, better cut and commercial grade. I think it should do you well for residential stuff for years to come if you do basic maintenance, Kawasaki engines are built to last.
