    Badgers?

Ran out to my lease just north of Newcastle and on the way to the river stand a badger ran out in the road ahead of us. I have been on this leases for 10 years and never seen one before. As a matter of fact this was my first ever encounter. Are they common in this part of Texas?

We don't need no stinking badgers!

And of course, good old wiki.

I caught one in a trap in Northcentral Oklahoma when I was a kid. I have lived in Northcentral Texas 22 years and have seen one.

I found this on my trail cam in Cottle County. First one I have ever gotten a pic of and have never seen one in person.

One of the oil companies went to pick up a old oil storage tank at our place.........they had just started to lift when a badger came out from under it and chased two of the workers back into the truck.

We've called a few in before when coyote hunting. Got a picture of one on my trail cam at my aoudd lease this past week. I don't see them very often, but have probably seen 10 or so in the last 5 or 6 years.
