POC, lots of holiday traffic due to 4th ??

Looking to make a run offshore this weekend and just realized its a holiday weekend. Anyone down there right now ? Is there more traffic than a regular weekend down there right now ? I usually try and stay away from the crowds but the seas are forecasted for 1-2's this weekend

Express - it is very crowded but we are gonna go as well for the same reasons. They have the big fireworks and party Saturday I think. Have a buddy down and he said it is crazy- Run early and run fast. They are calling for 1 foot seas and a 9 second period on Saturday- Sunday morning 2's with 9 sec breaks and smoothing out.

Sure wish I had a place to crash down there, then we'd leave friday night and break the jetties at dawn. We'll probably leave sat morning around 5 and hope for the best, make it a day trip and try and be home before dark.

Express I would offer you a shack to stay in but its full of people- I got a room for Friday and Saturday at Captain's in Seadrift when I started looking at the weather. If you see an idiot out in a Pescador in the City Service area stop by and chat.
