    Bobcat as a pet?

Anyone ever had a bobcat as a pet? I've come across a couple kittens! These are city bobcats not that it would matter. Lol!

We had a boy mix and when he hit maturity he went wild on us. A fixed girl would be ok I think. It will want to sleep high - ie - on your mounts etc. A friend had one he finally moved to a big cage.....

my uncles brother in law had one. He could pet it etc. but no one else could. It was on a tie out between two tree or cloths line or something and a dog got to close and it nearly skinned it alive is story I was told....

I had a pet coon and it could be mean as heck when wanted so I cant imagine a bobcat

I wouldn't recommend it if you have little kids. It'd be kinda cool though...talk about a heckuva barn cat!

I've raised several....and have the scars to prove it. I've personally never seen a tame one, heard of em, but never seen one.

I would think you could transplant those back to a natural preserve or something and not take the risk.....i sure wouldn't want to 'tie' any animal dog, cate, horse especially something that is a wild animal

My MIL had one for about 10 years. It was a really neat pet. She also had a pet coyote.

Can be done. Declawed and neutered. But they're still a cat.

Yupp...there is a girl in Tilden that runs around with it sleeping on her dashboard of her truck...Seen it several times cool cat appeared to be a big male didnt ask...I think it depends on how young you get them and how much time you spend with them to tame them right...
