Anyone have one or shot one? Mine will be in my hands next Wednesday and was just wondering if any fellow TBHers had any experience with one yet?

I have the XDm 45 its a very sweet rig and I have shot the XD series. The gun Shoots better than me. If you point it and get a good squeeze the bullet will hit where you aim every time. My dad can make every bullet hole touch one another with my pistol @ 15yards. I would think this XDS series will be just as good and reliable as the rest of the XD line up.

I have an XD45. And i love it! Haven't shot an XDS but I'm sure it'll be a great gun. Let us know how she does

When did they finally release the xds? Read on the springfield forum they kept pushing the date back. I've got plans to buy one once they come out

Pawed one a week or so ago at shooters station in Conroe. Price was over Msrp so I passed. My thinking is as soon as the new wears off the pricing will settle down a little. Other than the ticket price it was a beauty. Fiber optic front sight with extra fiber included in the box in red and green. Still has the loaded chamber indicator on the top of the slide but SA did away with the striker indicator on the back. Didn't shoot it but it was very sleek and slim. Really like this pistol but ive got more time than money so I decided to pass... For now.

Not sure when they actually started shipping. I saw them on Gun Broker and called my gun guy. He owed me a favor and I've been waiting to use it on this pistol as it will be my main ccw. Once he called me back and said he could have it in my hands for $500 I told him I would pick it up next wednesday when I get back home. Said it was the only one he could find and that only one of his suppliers had it in stock for right now. Can't wait to shoot it.

There is a review on youtube by Hickock 45 on it , He has more than 600 reviews on firearms and seems knowledgeable. He says it is a great gun.
