I think this site sadly has some of the most hypocritical people on it at times. While I don't LIKE the guy flying the flags of Mexico/Spain, assuming he is a US citizen he has every right too. Would it have shown more pride of both countries to have flown the American and Mexican/Spanish flags together sure but he has a right to make up his own mind. For a site that supposedly has a bunch of tough Texas Men and Women some of you sure get your panties in a wad pretty easily. I have always been of the nature to worry about my own issues and problems and let my "neighbor" worry about his. Most of you were in a tizzy and Rubydog let his Independence Day(how ironic) get ruined by the actions of a stranger that he has never even met. What do I know though?

YES! I love to pick their brain's, too. Ask them why they came here. And what the differences are from their home country. We are so spoiled having been born here. It's always good to get another perspective to remind us how good we really have it.

Your service is well reported and even better respected. I know that you've served this country, my country, well...and I appreciate it. My point was that people that want to make a difference don't let little things like laws stop them. If they did you'd still be serving a King in England. If you'd have ripped the flags down, you'd have broken the law and most of the boot-lickers on here would have piled on you. I'd have just thought that you felt so strongly about it that you did what you had to do. Since you didn't do that I assumed that you didn't feel strongly enough about it....pard.

Maybe a different flag every month because we are free to do so. Screw pride, screw allegiance, screw don't tread on me, ....let's undermine authority and rebel against the patriotic Americans so we can live in an enchanted land.... a land where we can all be drunk college kids and beatnick flower children with finger cymbals with dreads and BO... and let's make sure we don't wake up from our trip until this country is in ruin....hail yeah! sounds like a plan!.....woohoo!!

Yeah, that was out of bounds. I used to work in Midland, a really nice lady would bring tamales by the office at lunch. I used to buy them for the office staff. They were incredible, I think the secret ingredient was lard!

Ok then so be it. It sounds like turning a blind eye is your thing. Just not mine.. And for the record no independence day was ruined for me simply because I have businesses to run and had to work most of the day. I did spend some quality time with family and that was worth it. As for your last question... I guess not much as it pertains to me. Thank you for your 2 cents worth just the same.

Rubydog never said it was unconstitutional and I don't think any one else did either. It was rude and disrespectful and plainly ****ed him off as it would have me. Just a simple question or two here....how is it hypocritical to not want an American or any other person to fly a Mexican flag on American soil...especially on Independence Day?? What is the counter to that action to justify hypocrisy? I was never waving an American flag when I used to go across the border shopping or drinking....which would seemingly be the only basis for hypocrisy I could imagine to counter what is being talked about here.
