    Thieving jerks!!!!

Guys, do me a favor and keep an eye open for anyone shooting a "new to them" Carter Hunter. Jake and I leave our bows in the inventory area at the store so we can point out to people what we shoot to help them make a decision about their own stuff. Well this weekend I was in College Station for the Texas JOAD State Championships with 9 of my kids. Anyway when I get back, I can't find my release. We've turned the place over. It's gone. It was attached to my site when I left Saturday morning because I went in and shot a few times before getting on the road. If you see someone trying to learn how to shoot one, and the cord that holds it on your wrist has some wear where it ties to the release, and there's a little crud built up on the hook right as it comes out of the body of the release, it's probably mine. And no, I didn't engrave it to mark it as mine. My own trust in people coming out again and biting me on the butt!

Sorry I had to vent. It just ****** me off to ne end!!!!!!!

    Later,
    Edward

      Hope you find yours.
I had two carter releases stolen from my quiver at a state indoor shoot a few years ago. At the time my wife had just had our first born and money was really tight. That set me back a couple of months.
I told my friends that if they ever saw me beating on somebody at a tournament it was going to be because I found my releases.

Some folks actually think that if you are not standing there watching your stuff then you don't want it anymore. I was told this by some guys who took my bucket of minnows and 2 rods while I was in the restroom.

LMAO Holdem. That is sad. I've seen the same attitude.

"If they wanted the stuff they wouldn't have walked away from it".

Sorry to hear this Edward! I hope you find the person that took it. I've just never understood taking something that was not yours.

When I got out of college I joined a YMCA flag football team in Clear Lake. I had a almost brand new Pro Football I had bought. Well we show up to play this one team and man I was like dude they look like a pro team. They had about 30 of these $50 balls. I was impressed. That is till at the end of the game I realized that mine was stolen. Now I knew why they had that many. What a bunch of A holes. Reported to the YMCA which could have cared less.

              Sorry for you loss.

It just makes you not want to trust people. But what are you going to do? I'm not going to stop running my store like I want to just because of some low life SOB. I'll just have to be a little more careful about where I choose to leave my stuff.

                    Thanks for the comments.

                    Take care,
                    Edward
