Excellent pics and God Bless America. I was just telling my wife today that I'd like to put a flag pole in our front yard and another in the backyard by our pool....does anyone have any suggestions for making a flag pole....could I make it from steel pipe or does it have to be aluminum? We have one place around here that is a flag place so I'll call them tomorrow, I was just trying to see if anyone had an inexpensive way to make the setup. Thanks and God Bless

Griz I made mine.Its a piece of 25ft...2 3/8 ths pipe.I dug a hole in the front yard with the tractor about 4ft.I welded a pulley to the top and primed and painted with Rustoleum paint.Don't skimp on paint!!!!!.I would really suggest having a really good oil based paint made up in your color choice.I ran some rope threw the pulley then dropped the pipe in the ground and set it with quik set concrete.I then put a Boat Cleat in to hold the rope and attached it with self tapping screws.Total cost 50$
