What's Worse Than A Root Canal?

The oven idea seems reasonable. Any experience?

I dropped mine in a pool. Next day i put it on the dash of my truck covered by a paper towel on a 105 degree day with the windows rolled up. That night i turned it on and she fired right up...same concept as the oven but I wasn't smart enough to think of that. Iphone by the way

I've dropped my Iphone in a puddle of water. Picked it up and put it in a ziploc bag full of rice. The next day it worked fine that was 1.5yr ago and I'm still using it.
