Smallest caliber to protect yourself?

For pure protection, I would say no smaller than the .410/45 colt Judge. However, this package is not usually suited for everyday concealed carry. Im normally the t-shirt and wranglers kind of guy which doesn't help as far as concealing a large weapon. I can, however put my Kahr .380 in my back pocket. I'm no specialist in firearms or ballistics, but I feel the smallest caliber safe enough to protect you is what ever one you WILL carry. That beautiful 1911 .45 You left at home is no more help to you-because you left it at home. Just my 2 cents.

The title of this thread is just a catch phrase to surprise you with the joke.....a very good one.
I have seen it here before. I can just see the love of his life on the ground while he makes his escape...funny!
