    Hybrid RV question

Folks I have a 1999 Thor "cub" hybrid RV with fold out bedding areas. I have noticed that I have a soft spot in the floor by the entrance. It seems to be getting worse so I want to fix it. I have never tackled anything like this before so I was wondering two things. First how much ballpark would l be looking at to have it fixed and what would be a starting point if I choose to do it myself. What's the best way to find the leak?

Leak is generally in the door frame. Fairly easy fix. Remove door & frame. Alot of time you can just peel up the linoleum enough to repair small soft spot. If not you will have to cut the area and try to splice the limo back in. I generally find the weakest spot and cut a small hole big enough to put my hand in. Then I feel around for the studs. After I find my studs I square up my lines and cut out bad spot. If stud are not bad cut out replacement piece and screw down. Replace studs if needed. It yet a little harder if you're trying to cut out next to wall. You might have to use small hand saw. Good luck and email me or text me any questions at 281-734-3111

Also sometime if you have the fabric underbelly, you can cut a opening big enough to research the area before starting. To repair just take some Gorilla duct tape and seal the opening
