Just Chillin'...Better Not Stay Too Long :)

I recently found a little daytime hog hang out. Looks like someone else found it as well.

Do y'all think a bobcat will take down a hog? If yes, what do you think
    maximum size they could handle??

Time on camera is one hour earlier than real time.

I think a bobcat could take down a 15# or less piglet. I think it would try bigger but be unsuccessful

I would think a grown bobcat could handle a small pig.

        A football piglet, definitely.

Could probably be in and out, up a tree before mama knew what happened.

Cool pics.If he's hungry enough maybe that cat will go for a bigger pig ,but I would think the smaller ones would be easier to catch/kill.

You've got quite a little honey hole there.

I think a bobcat could take down a 50lb or less pig. They jump on their backs & get their necks.

Would be a wild ride for a few minutes.

Well, not before I figure out a stand set up of some kind. Sitting on the ground in the chiggers doesn't sound too fun. Tiffany and I got ate up last week.

I'd say they can and do kill lil hogs. I'd think up to twice their body weight or so. Go for the quick kill. Then come back after the momma and rest of the herd leave. Just what I've always thought they'd do. Same for a coyote.

Hog would be no problem for a bobcat. This one's not a year old and it amazes me what it can do. With no claws!
