Good sunday morning all, not at church nate came home from came with a ear infection, but loved it! Thanks for the info on Frontier Camp. Main reason for this post. We are looking for a good club in the Venus-DFW area to shoot 3D and tournaments. We sling any where from 25-to at least 50 arrows a day in the yard but limited to 20 yards max and only so many angles. HE go to CCR and on the 3rd sunday of the month the Arlington Sportsman's Club in mansfield has a open shoot for 7 dollars and we have been doing that, the thing is to join there is 455 dollars for the first year. I think that is high for what you get. If any of you are in clubs and have good places to shoot and compete in the area please let me know. There will be three of us my son nathan 12 son-in-law Gerald 30, and me the old man at 42!

Not sure where Venus is at Collin County Bowhunters has a really nice range. It is located NE of Mckinny. I think its only $50 a year to join as family.Last edited by dac6933; 07-01-2012, 10:24 AM.Comment

Venus is south of Ft. Worth and Mansfield in between Midlothian and Alvarado.Comment

Cowtown bowmen is probably your best bet. Very reasonably priced. Keep targets out year around and have a 3 d shoot every month I believe. Great group of guys over there and one of my favorite places to shoot. There are a lot of great clubs in the DFW area. You will probably get more response in the 3 d forum on this.Comment
