Would a Live roughneckin thread be as good as the Live hunts?

...just bored and gonna see if i could provide some entertainment for myself and anyone else...Got back to work a week and a half ago, hung and cemented a 4.5" liner in the lateral, made a clean up run, layed down pipe, rigged down, moved the rig, rigged back up, got spudded in, then got stuck @ 250', jarred on her for a day and a half until she finally broke lose, & now...im back in cadillac mode in the a/c! Goin on days off tuesday and ready to make that drive across texas back home to see the wife and kiddos!...its been a long 2 weeks....just figured maybe a "live roughneckin thread" might ve just as exciting as some of the live hunt threads...kinda like watchin a reality show about drilling thats actually a little more "reality" than the one they have now...

Well I am one of the most disliked people out there.......... Thread Rep.

But once everyone one gets to know me, I am actually one of the coolest and easiest to get along with.

Just don't dwell on the fact that I am chillin inside with the driller

That's what they all say about us thread reps as well.............. we do have it pretty easy until the ____ hits the fan!!! Or we are out with no relief.

I can't count the number of times I have seen shift changes twice on a job before I get to go to bed.

Us drillers also worked many a moon and heat filled days on the floor and the board pullin pipe too before gettin where we at too podz...it has its pros and cons too...i may not have to bust *** as much any more until rig move, but its alot of stress too havin to worry bout four hands and a 26,000 dollar a day operation for 12 hrs a day and 2 weeks at a time....and i KNOW that it only gets more harsh mentally for pushers and company hands...but...it does make it nice to be on a newer rig with a climate controlled dog house too. lol i work in west texas for h&p on a flex 3...drilling for cimarex....i always said that short of a.d.-ing, that workin derricks was the best job on the rig because ur never short-handed, nevet have to trip wet pipe, & i think women kinda dig a fella thats 120' off the ground pullin back 8" drill collars too! lol

That has to suck DJ. You have to be run down when the guy from the day shift sees you and says you back, but you haven't left.
