A few questions for Breezy or Smart

    How do you fillet these?

    Corn meal or blackened?

    Is this a trophy?

Do you use those pointy things for toothpicks?

Pretty good lightning around Port A this morning so I guess we'll wait on getting the kayak wet. Syl hammered the hardheads yesterday. I ended up with 2 keeper reds, one was a five-spot.

I was on the surf (Port A) at day break this morning. Threw gulp shrimp into 40 mph winds and four ft waves for about 15 minutes. Crawled back into bed with Kara at 6:45. Much more enjoyable than fighting the storm-surged surf. Very heavy lightening south then the bottom fell out about 7:00 am.

Gary you are a man of many talents, slaying hogs one weekend and the slaying the reds the next, like DJ said you living the good life my friend.

That first pic and black drum are a Breezy guide service specialty Gary.

I think he throws them in his Yeti for an hour and they come out filleted and vacuum sealed for consumption..

I heard he microwaves them but you'd have to confirm that

If the storms clear out and the wind isn't too crazy me and gage may ride out to fish pass this evening. Might fish the bay side of the pass if the surf is too chopped up.

Water was ok. Weed weed weed !! Storms stirred it up.

Stiff SE winds and over cast. Can't beat Shamrock on a day like this. Fish will be stacked up shallow against wind blown banks. Night Hawk is another great spot for days like this. Man I miss my boat.
