ID:	24907143on the pit now gonna let it smoke for a couple hours, pull it out wrap, get fire up to about 275 degrees and go to bed going in at 5 and by then the temp will still be at 190. Gonna make some fresh pico de gallo too. Mmmmm.

                      Ohhhh man I can only imagine how good the home made stuff is. I love me some barbacoa but only get it from the local taco shops and havnt had anything else to compare it to.. Same with menudo, I love the stuff but have only had it from the local places. I wanna try some home cooked!

                          My mouth is watering now. Nothing like some authentic barbacoa!
                          I stopped to gas up in a little town just south of Albuquerque, NM, on Monday, got the best doggone barbacoa burrito I have ever tasted(lamb). Hope that place is open on my way back Sunday!

                            Thanks guys, ya After you make it yourself you find it very hard to go and buy it for 9.99 a lb. I make it at least once a month for my parents n MIL. It's very simple and it Is the best I have ever had maybe all in my head cause I make it but the family agrees. Got about a hour till I wrap it more pics to come

                              Barbacoa and a cold Big Red in the morning. You need to post pics of it coming out of the pit, Id like to know how it turns out.
